A 23-year-old Salina man was arrested Friday on attempted rape, attempted aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated assault, and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Cody Brunner is alleged to have used a knife to threaten a mid teen aged girl to have sex. He began sexual relations and then stopped.

The incident occured between 9 and 10 Friday morning.
