Very HOT temperatures will continue today and into the weekend.

Temperatures today will surge into the low to mid 100s in south central Kansas with low 100s elsewhere. Late Sunday, a cool front will push into central Kansas bringing some relief, but low 100s are expected across south central and southeastern Kansas through the weekend.

Heat indices will stay near 100 to 105. Take care when doing activities outside. Drink plenty of water if you must be outside.
