The Hays Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and apprehend a suspect of a sexual assault reported in Hays, July 1.

At approximately 5:00 am, a woman in her fifties reported to the Hays Police that she had been beaten and sexually assaulted while walking her dog in the 2900 block of Country Lane.

The woman described her attacker as a dark-complected male, approximately 5’8′-6’0″ tall, early to mid 20′s, with a broad muscular build, short, cropped dark-colored hair, and heavy dark eyebrows.

The public is reminded to be alert and exercise caution at all times.
