Salina Police have taken multiple reports in the past couple of weeks of someone going into unlocked apartments in the 600 block of Johnstown.

On June 29th, a 75-year-old woman reported that her purse was found in front of a neighbors door and $30 to$40 in cash was taken while the woman was taking a nap in the living room.

Then on Monday afternoon around 3:15 a 50-year-old woman woke up from a nap in her apartment to find a tall, heavy set, white male rummaging through her cabinets. She yelled at him and he ran out the door. Nothing was reported taken in this case.
