If you can stand the Japanese subtitles in the video below, you just may learn how to cool off your car before getting in.

As we all know, thanks to this great heat wave, it’s nearly unbearable to jump into your car after it’s been sitting out in the sun. (NOTE – This doesn’t apply to those with the fancy schmancy auto-start systems).

We were skeptical that this would actually work, but after testing it out this afternoon, we can confirm that it does work pretty well.

Now, it won’t feel like the Coors Light Ice Train is moving through, but it will get the extremely hot air out of your car long enough to get the air conditioner working.

Steps:
1. Roll down one window in your car.
2. Open and shut a door on the opposite side 5-6 times.
