The Central Mall has announced the newest addition to its 15,000 gallon Kansas Aquarium.

A 65-pound flathead catfish was caught in the Saline County River by Jason Reinbold and donated to Central Mall.

In honor of the newest member of the aquarium family, customers are invited to help the Central Mall choose a name for the fish. Central Mall’s “Fishin’ For a Name” contest will begin July 25 and run through August 18.

To enter, customers can visit the aquarium to see the fish, fill out the entry form with their suggested name, and place in the ballot box, located near the aquarium. Customers can also vote for their favorite name on Facebook at Facebook.com/CentralMallSalina.

Votes will strongly influence the decision, however the final name will be chosen by Central Mall Management. The winning name will be announced at the Back To School Fashion Show on August 20, in Center Court.

The customer that enters the winning name will be awarded a $50 Central Mall Gift Card.
