A 50-year-old Manhattan man was injured in a single vehicle accident on  I-70, 9 miles east of Abilene, just before 2PM Thursday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Carl J. Hill was traveling westbound on I70 when a back tire blew on the Mack Truck he was driving, causing him to swerve and loose control. The vehicle then ran off roadway and overturned.

Hill was transported to Memorial Hospital in Abilene with injuries. His condition has not been released.
