An arrest has been made for one of the two sexual assaults that occurred early this month. Hays Police on Wednesday arrested 16-year-old Tre Miekale Carrasco for assaulting a woman on July 1st in the 2900 block of Country Lane.

Carrasco has been charged with one count of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy and one count of Aggravated Battery. He also has been charged as a juvenile with two counts of Aggravated Burglary for incidents that occurred on January 23 and 26.

A detention hearing was held Thursday, and Carrasco was placed in the temporary custody of the Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority. He’s being held at the Salina detention facility.
