A traffic stop Tuesday evening in north Salina lead to the seizure of a mobile meth lab.

A Saline County Sheriff’s deputy stopped 26-year-old Matthew Mounce near the North 9th/I-70 interchange on a traffic violation.

Mounce was arrested on outstanding warrants, and during a search of the car a mobile meth lab was discovered in the trunk.

The I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force was notified and they disposed of the meth lab. Mounce, who also has a pending criminal case in Reno County was arrested on charges attempted methamphetamine manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia .
