21-year-old Salina man suffered a small stab wound to his left arm while trying to break up a fight between his roommate and a 17-year-old man.

When Salina Police arrived at the emergency room on a report of a stabbing, they found Raul Lopez-Garcia of 709 Cherokee, being treated for a stab wound.

Lopez-Garcia was stabbed by the 17-year-old after he tried to prevent 20-year-old Anthony Robles of 709 Cherokee, from hitting the teen with a pipe. The teen had allegedly slashed a tire on a vehicle that belongs to Robles.

Robles was charged with aggravated assault for trying to hit the teen with the pipe.

The teen could face charges of aggravated battery.
