Two incoming soccer players for Kansas Wesleyan University were killed in a wreck that happened Saturday morning near the Utah/ Colorado border on I-70.

According to a story from the Salt Lake Tribune, The truck in which three southern Califronia men were in rolled on the interstate west of Green River Utah.

All three men were transported to a Grand Junction, Colorado hospital where 21 year old Carlos A. Ornelas, or South Gate, California died Saturday. On Sunday 20 year old Eddie Valencia of Los Angeles died of his injuries. A third person not indentifed in the story was treated for minor arm and leg injuries and was released from the hospital. The cause of the crash and who was driving is under investigation by the Utah Highway Patrol.

Kansas Wesleyan University is expected to release a statement during the day on Monday.
