A stolen SUV was involved in a hit and run early Saturday in Salina.

Brian Jackson of Salina says he left his keys to his 2003 Chevy Tahoe on the deck at Big Nose’s Kate’s in downtown early Saturday morning.

When he remembered he had left his keys, he went back to get them, could not find them and then discovered his SUV had been stolen. Police found it later Saturday in the 400 block of Washington with front end damage and tires flattened.

The Tahoe was involved in a hit and run at 12th and South, where the driver of the vehicle had jumped the curb went through some bushes and struck a car parked in a driveway.

No damage estimates were available and no suspect has been arrested.
