A 10-year-old Kansas boy was injured after crashing a pickup truck he was driving near Wakeeney, Thursday evening.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a truck driven by Houston Edwards of Hill City left the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled several times, coming to rest on the driver’s side. The accident occurred shortly after 6PM.

The KHP said Edwards was following a vehicle driven by his father.

Edwards was flown to a Kearney, Nebraska hospital for treatment.
