UPDATE (9:35 am)- The Kansas Highway Patrol has released the identities of the victims of an accident that killed a railroad worker Sunday afternoon in Dickinson County.

59-year-old Elmer C. Hulse of Wakarusa was driving a rail truck, which travels on railroad tracks, to inspect the tracks. He was hit be a vehicle crossing the tracks.

The driver of the other vehicle, 52-year-old Jean Aker of Abilene was transported to Abilene Hospital with injuries.

No further information has been released.
