Salina Police investigating a series of burglaries and a theft . Between September 3rd and September 5th someone broke into a home at 1017 Sunrise Drive and took two bottles of whiskey, pocket knives, and a laptop computer. Entry to the home gained by breaking out a window to a door. Loss and damage estimated at $1,350.

Between September 2nd and September 3rd, someone took a flat screen TV, laptop computer, and home theater system from 1104 State Street. The loss estimated at $1,120. The house was unlocked when the burglary took place.

On September 3rd someone went into a home at 500 E. Jewell through an unlocked front door, and took a computer, a PS3 game system and games, a Wii game system and games, and two cameras. Loss estimated at $1,430.

September 2nd Savannah Rich of 330 1/2 S. 8th reports the theft of a laptop computer, e-machine and Miami Ink Hat from her home. Loss is $1,215.
