A jury has found the owner of The Grind in Salina, guilty of selling an illegal substance known as “potpourri”.

Eric Srack was found guilty on 3 counts of selling the chemical JWH-081. The substance was being sold as potpourri, but was reportedly being smoked and allegedly caused numerous users to have negative reactions.

The case and the substances themselves, caused controversy across Kansas and Salina in particular earlier this year. Kansas laws have since been strengthened in regards to the substances.

Sentencing is set for October.
