Search of Car Turns up More Potpourri And Other Evidence

The I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force has recovered more “potpourri” after searching the car of a 42-year-old Salina man arrested over the weekend for conspiracy to distribute the synthetic cannabinoid.

Lt. Jim Norton the Task Force Commander said Tuesday morning, that the search of the blue 2001 BMW 7 series car that belongs to Eric Srack was done at the Salina Police Department.

The search found a safe in the trunk, along with two briefcases.

In the safe was 666 grams or a little more than 1.75 pounds of potpourri, with a street value of nearly $20,000 and $1,501 in what was believed to be drug proceeds.

In the briefcases were owe sheets, the names and amounts of money owed by people who bought potpourri, and what is described as a 5 page manifesto written about Srack.

Norton says other documents found could also become evidence in the investigation.

Norton says a couple more arrest in the investigation in the near future are possible.
