A 28-year-old man is in the Saline County Jail on charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, and making criminal threats.

Brent Davis of 115 E. Jewell, is alleged to have beaten, kicked, choked, and urinated on a woman in her late 20’s at his home and then did not let her go from late Friday evening to early Saturday morning after an argument.

Davis allegedly knocked the woman out after hitting her head with a wooden block about the size of a brick, choked her by placing a baseball bat over her neck and threatened to kill her and throw her down the basement stairs to paralyze her.

About 3:30 am she was able to get out of the house and ran to a house in the 100 block of E. Ellsworth and get the occupants to call police for her.

Davis was arrested at a home in southwest Salina Saturday afternoon.
