A 21-year-old Salina man was arrested early Tuesday morning on requested charges of burglary theft, and damage to property.

Police were dispatched to Cirilla’s at 2144 Planet Avenue about 12:45 am to respond to an alarm.

When they arrived, they found the glass of the front door had been shattered.

In doing a search of the area, officers stopped Juan Aquirre of 1120 Yale who was riding a bike in the area of Otto and Tulane.

In a backpack Aquirre had found was a sledgehammer head on a rope and 6 empty dvd title covers.

Damage to the glass in the doors placed at $500. Value of the dvd covers put at $5.
