The Salina City Commission had a quick meeting Monday. Commissioners on second reading approved the repeal of the going out of business ordinance.

The commission also approved recommendations for grant fund allocation to local agencies for the 2011-2012 Kansas Emergency Shelter Grant. $10,554 will go to the Ashby House, $12,901 will go to Catholic Charities, and $13,545 going to DVACK.

Commissioners also approved on a 5-0 vote amending the City Manager Employment Agreement that now gives City Manager Jason Gage 25 days of vacation, up from 20 days .
