1. 52-year-old Jerry Rice, of 730 Fairdale is alleged to have rented a 2010 Chrysler Sebring from Enterprise Rental Car that was to be returned on October 5th. The car was never returned and on October 22nd a representative from Enterprise spotted Rice driving the car. Police were called and located Rice in the 800 block of Custer. Rice was stopped and arrested on felony theft charges.
2. $25,245 worth of railroad materials were stolen from KNO Railroad, 419 North St., some time between Sep 15th and 7:00 AM October 21st. 183 joint bars and 1,388 tie plates were found missing October 21st.
3. Computers and a projector that were stolen from Central High School during a burglary the night of Cctober 15th were found in a drainage ditch near 3rd and Wilson on October 23rd. Two children walking near the area contacted police after finding the computers and projector inside of a trash bag and a purple duffel bag.
4. Someone reportedly kicked in a door at 217 W. Ash #203 and stole a Playstation 3, games and a Compaq laptop computer. A witness reportedly saw someone in a black hoodie running from the area around 11:14 PM the same evening. Loss and damages estimated at $1,964.
5. 6 Denver Hickory Kitchen cabinets were stolen from the front porch of 243 Morrison some time between October 22nd and October 23rd. Loss total of $816.
