The Saline County Sheriffs Office is investigating a pair of burglaries in the county.

Between October 22nd and October 24th 1,500 pounds of copper pipe was taken from outbuildings on East Water Well Road. The pipe was 15′ long and either 1″ or 1 1/2″ in diameter. Value of the copper pipe estimated at $6,000.

Between October 19th and October 24th, a dirt bike, small electrical bike, 500 VHS tapes, and a large assortment of tools was taken from a property on South Lightville Road. Loss estimated to run into the thousands of dollars.
