A 22-year-old Abilene man was arrested and another arrest is possible, in connection of the theft of a back hoe, and other equipment from a construction site in Saline County back in the middle of October.

Ethyn Hafner was charged with felony theft for taking the items on October 9th from 327 N. Holmes Road and moving them to Abilene.

The owner of the equipment James Howard, recovered the property on October 17th, and filed a report earlier this week.

Hafner was arrested Wednesday at the Saline County Sheriffs Office. The value of the equipment is placed at $66,000.
