Drug paraphernalia and materials used to make methamphetamine were seized Thursday afternoon from a home in the 500 block of West Seventh Street by the Russell Police Department, assisted by officers from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
According to a news release from Russell Police Chief Jon Quinday, officers searched the home as part of an ongoing investigation.
The Russell City Fire Department and Russell Regional Hospital EMS were on-scene as a precautionary measure.
Numerous items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, suspected methamphetamine product and drug paraphernalia were seized. The investigation is continuing.
