It was bound to happen; someone felt that Herman Cain was actually a threat to the Democratic Party and to President Obama, so naturally they had to do something about it. Chicago politics is nasty at best and that is what they are pulling on Herman Cain. Dig up something and if you can’t get good stuff, make something up, hire someone to say something that will hurt the targeted individual and let the gossip begin.
The problem with Herman Cain is, the first bit of news that he ‘sexually harassed’ a couple ladies did nothing to harm his campaign. Herman’s followers, and I am one of them, expected something of this nature to pop up in the campaign. Now one accuser has a high profile lawyer and is making accusations. Okay, she claims she told her boyfriend about the alleged incident. My question is, why didn’t her boyfriend do something about it right then? Why did she wait until now to make this all public? Simply put, she wanted to smear Cain’s reputation and ruin his credibility. Unfortunately, Cain’s supporters are still behind him and are planning to ride this out.
I have listened to Herman Cain on radio talk shows for many years now. His behavior on the radio shows has never indicated to me that he is a real womanizer like Bill Clinton. When Bill Clinton ran for president, it was well documented that he had the habit of sexual impropriety. When he was in the White House, Clinton actually had an affair with a government intern and was impeached for it but never charged. The Democratic Party was trying to blow this off as no big deal. Unfortunately, this did not set well with the Christian Conservatives or the Republican Party. This type of behavior is not appropriate for the President of the United States. SO! This is the game they are pulling on Herman Cain.
Why is it that it is alright for liberals and those of the Democratic Party to do behave in such terrible ways and the Republican Party and Conservatives are not allowed to behave in such ways? Now I am NOT saying Cain behaved this way I am just trying to prove a point. Look at the late Ted Kennedy and the incident in which he wrecked his car into the river, leaving his girlfriend to drown. The Democrats would cry foul on this one because Kennedy is now long gone, but still the point remains, the Democrats are constantly trying to make others look bad and yet if they would just look in the mirror, and admit the truth, they are worse.
Chicago Politics at its best, smear the other guy before he can smear you or provide a platform that makes sense and is logical for the country.
