The state corrections department says two prisoners who escaped from a minimum-security unit at the Lansing Correctional Facility are still at large.

The escapees are 22-year-old Chad Duane Amack and 28-year-old Matthew Glen Allender. They were discovered missing from the prison at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Amack is serving a 23-month sentence for theft and aggravated burglary in Shawnee County. He’s white, 5 feet 9 and 175 pounds with green eyes and brown hair.
