A 49-year-old man was injured in a single vehicle accident in Saline County, shortly after 4PM Monday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Cecil A. Lewis of Headville was traveling northbound on Hedville Rd (1 mile South of Headville), when he lost control in icy and hazardous conditions.The vehicle entered the west ditch and struck a power pole.

Lewis was transported to Salina Regional Hospital with injuries.

There were no other injuries reported.
