The Saline County Sheriffs Office is still looking for an inmate who was furloughed from jail to attend his mothers funeral last Friday.

Scott Cordell was released from jail by court order to attend a funeral in McPherson County last Friday. He did not return to jail at 3pm .

Cordell has been in jail since November 18th 2011 on a body only warrant in connection with a 2006 drug case. He was arrested in November for failing to appear in court.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says the Sheriffs Office has not recieved any tips on his whereabouts , but he does now face an additional charged of aggravated escape from custody.
