Salina Sirens are starting up an all-female roller derby league. Anticipated start date is May 2012. The Salina Sirens Roller Derby Team consists of professional area women who’s personalities transform when they “strap on the skates!”
Ivonna Tripa’Chick, Marketing Director for The Salina Sirens, is excited for the upcoming, debut season of roller derby in Salina and says area fans will have a lot of fun watching this extremely competitive and full contact sport.
Between now and the start of their first season, The Salina Sirens will be sponsoring fund-raisers and meet-and-greets with some of the Derby Girls. You can stay updated on their activities here on Salinapost.com. You can also follow them on their Facebook Page or learn more about The Salina Sirens on their website. We have provided links to both, below.
