Two Salina Teens Charged in Rash of Vandalism Cases

Two Salina teens charged with a dozen cases of vandalism that have occurred in the last month.

14-year-old Joshua Jacobia, and a 13-year-old boy were charged with the vandalism after police got a tip with a name, after an elementary school was spray painted Tuesday night.

In addition to the spray paint of the school, the two were allegedly involved in damage to a pair of churches and homes in east-central Salina since January 5th.

While no exact damage estimate is available, it’s believed the damage will run into several thousand dollars.

Kansas Law allows for the media to publish the names of suspects in criminal cases 14 years of age and older.
