A semi trailer was damaged Saturday afternoon, after someone unhitched the trailer from the semi pulling the trailer.
The driver of the semi had stopped at the Bosselman Travel Center at 1944 N 9th, about 2pm to eat, and when leaving just before 3pm the trailer separated from the semi as it was leaving the travel center.

The latch on the 5th wheel had been unlocked while the driver had been inside. A tow truck was used to lift the trailer back up to re-hook it to the semi.

Damage to the trailer which was carrying pallets of liquid soap was $900.
