A storm system will bring increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms to the area tonight through Sunday. Rainfall amounts between one-half and one inch will be possible across much of the area…especially across southeast Kansas.

Today: Increasing clouds, with a high near 66. South southwest wind 7 to 10 mph increasing to between 15 and 18 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 41. South wind between 9 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
