We have come so far from that first meeting in the park. And it would not have been possible without the love and support from all of you right here in Salina. We still have a ways to go, but we are so grateful for warm welcome that we have received thus far. We want to thank you all from the bottom of derby hearts. The Sirens League is here to stay, and we will continue to give back to this community in every way possible.

The Salina Sirens Roller Derby team you have all come to know and love is officially a Not-for-Profit league! That’s right, we gained our 501(C)3 status. This a big deal for us, and we are stoked!

Due to our growing number of recruits we have formed the Salina Sirens Roller Derby League Incorporated. This league currently has two teams within it. The Salina Sirens and the Twisted Sisters. Both teams will be bouting this year, with the Sirens playing here at home, and the Sisters representing for Salina in other cities.

We have also set up some dates to get out there and meet our fans face to face. We would like to invite everyone out to Ad Astra Books & Coffee House on Tuesday March 20 at 7:00 p.m. Come out and enjoy a decadent cup of coffee or an Italian Soda with us! Check out the vast book selection that Ad Astra has to offer, and our merchandise as well.

There are some fun activities coming up in April as well. Look for details for these either here on the Salina Post, and on Facebook.
