Salina Police arrested three men Wednesday evening after an alleged drug deal went bad.
20-year-old Dustin Pottberg and 21-year-old Chace Jackson called 9-1-1 around 8pm, reporting that they had been held up at gunpoint by a man one of them knew, at the intersection of Quincy and Claflin.
After locating the suspect and talking to all three, Pottberg and Jackson were arrested on charges of making a false police report.
19-year-old Calvin Frenzley was charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and possession of a simulated controlled substance.
Police believe that Frenzley had laundry soap that could have been passed off as methamphetamine.
Pottberg and Frenzley were still in the Saline County Jail as of Thursday morning. Jackson was released from jail early Thursday morning.
