A 55-year-old Salina woman was arrested Tuesday on charges of endangering a child.

Bonnie Viar was at the Community Corrections Office at 227 N Santa Fe about 8:30am, when she was acting improperly and possibly under the influence of an illegal substance.

A staff member became concerned and called police. Viar was charged with child endangerment because she had brought her two year old granddaughters with her. Viar was booked into the Saline County Jail.
