Kansas House of Representatives member Charlie Roth has announced he will not seek another term in Topeka. The following is a short letter he had on his Facebook page Monday.

Dear friends,

I will not be filing for re-election for the next legislative term. It has been my privilege and honor to serve the constituents of the 71st district in the Kansas House of Representatives for the last 8 years. This has been a great experience and I have been witness to some significant events in Kansas history during these years. I have expanded my circle of friends and neighbors and for that I am grateful. Those relationships and memories will last a lifetime.
