Few details are available, but a man wanted on possible domestic battery charges and outstanding warrants, ran from police early Monday afternoon in north Salina.
According to scanner traffic,the man ran though a creek bed and out into a field, before being apprehended by police after several officers and a K-9 unit were in the area of a mobile home park at 917 N. 13th.
During the chase which began about 1:30 pm,the man was described as a heavy set white male. The Kansas Highway Patrol assisted in the chase, utilizing the patrol’s airplane.
