UPDATE: Autopsy Seeks Cause Of Death Of Young Salina Girl

UPDATE 10:20am Friday. As of Friday morning, Salina Police did not have any information available on the autopsy on the 18 month old girl found Monday afternoon not breathing at her central Salina home. Lt. Sean Morton says if information would become available, a release would be sent to the media, but it is more likely that information would not be available before Monday.

An autopsy was being conducted Thursday to determine the cause of death of an 18-month-old girl that died after being found unresponsive Monday afternoon.

Bre’Elle Jefferson was taken to Salina Regional Health Center before 4PM Monday afternoon after being found unresponsive at her home in the 600 block of Gypsum.

She was later transferred to Wesley Medical Center where she died Tuesday evening.

Lt. Scott Siemsen says it is possible that preliminary results could be available on Friday.
