Police were sent to Salina Regional Health Center early Thursday morning, after a 24-year-old man sought treatment for a minor gunshot wound.

The man arrived at the hospital around 4:00 am for treatment of a wound to a index finger that may have come from a handgun.

An investigation into the case continues and we will update this story as more information is released.
