An arrest was made Tuesday in an attempted robbery and stabbing that occurred in Hays last September.
Attempted Second Degree Murder and Attempted Aggravated Robbery charges have been filed against 26-year-old Ernel Emmanuel Chambers, who allegedly attempted to rob a pizza delivery driver at knife point in the 500 Block of Elm in Hays.
Chambers is accused of stabbing the person three times before fleeing from the scene. The delivery driver has recovered from his injuries.
Chambers is in the Ellis County Jail. Bond has been set at $750,000.
