A 33-year-old Salina woman who suffered head injuries during a physical altercation is now in a rehab medical facility in the Kansas City area.

Trish Cleveland had been in the intensive care unit of a Wichita hospital since the March 9th argument that turned into a physical altercation with 24-year-old Tiffany Byrd. Byrd is alleged to have slammed Cleveland’s head into the ground multiple times, according to Lt. Scott Siemsen of the Salina Police Department.

Byrd remains in the Saline County Jail on charges of aggravated battery.

Cleveland was transported to the Kansas City area early last week.
