A 13-year-old driver and an 8-year-old passenger were hurt in an accident in North Central Kansas, Monday around noon.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 13-year-old Joshua Mueller of Clifton was driving a truck east on K9 Highway towing a trailer. He lost control of the vehicle and left the south edge of the roadway. He then overcorrected, entered the north ditch, struck an embankment and overturned.
Mueller and passengers, 8-year-old Dillon Willbrant of Clay Center and 11-year-old Austin B. Morgan of Clifton, were transported to the Clay County Medical Center with injuries.
