The Great Bend Police Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation worked a drug and illegal weapons bust on Monday.

GBPD and the KBI executed a search warrant at 1427 16th Street Apartment A in Great Bend.

Law enforcement officers made contact with four individuals inside the apartment at the time of the warrant service, and arrested one of the residents on a warrant out of the Great Bend Municipal Court, while the other three were not arrested.

Officers seized methemphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a variety of ammunition, an illegal weapon, and electronic devices all believed to be used in the trafficking of illegal drugs and weapons.

The investigation is ongoing.
