Someone broke into a central Salina home late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning and made off with a few items.

It is believed the burglars broke into the home of Judy and Dennis Lilly in the 200 block of W. Prescott by cutting a window screen and using the window to make access inside.

Taken was a Dell laptop, a wallet with credit cards and drivers license, and a Skycaddie Golf GPS.

The suspect did try to use the credit card at a bank ATM, but was unsuccessful in making a transaction.

Loss and damage is estimated to be $881.
