More Showers Today; Flash Flooding Possible In Southern Kansas

Today: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. North wind 7 to 10 mph becoming southeast.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South wind between 7 and 11 mph.

Severe weather and Flash Flooding are possible today and tonight. An abundant amount of rain has already fallen over southeastern Kansas during the last two nights and more precipitation this morning and then again tonight could continue to cause flash flooding. Severe weather is possible late this afternoon and evening with the main threat being large hail and strong winds, but a tornado cannot be ruled out.
