A north Salina church was a victim of a burglary between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Someone entered the New Jerusalem Church at 321 N 8th. Taken was a camcorder, Bible and sash, a computer keyboard, and a portrait of the current pastor.

There was also attempt to get into the office of the church, where ceiling tiles to a false ceiling were broken.

There was no forced entry to the church. Loss and damage placed at $520.
