Riley County police are reporting an aggravated robbery occurred at the Little Apple Express gas station at 809 North Third Street in Manhattan in the early morning hours Saturday. A suspect entered the business brandishing a weapon, demanded money in the store be turned over, and then fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount.

Police say the robbery occurred about 2:20 a.m.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black man or possibly Hispanic man between 5’7 and 5’9 in height, medium build, wearing sun glasses, and a dark in color hooded sweatshirt with a white front and blue jeans. The case is under investigation.
