A Salina man remains in critical condition at Wesley Medical Center after his motorcycle struck a pickup truck just east of Salina early Friday evening.

Wesley Medical Center officials said Wednesday morning that 30-year-old Troy James Goff’s condition remains listed as critical. He is currently in the intensive care unit. He was transported by Life Star from the accident at Magnolia and Holmes Road.

Goff was traveling east on Magnolia on a 1997 Yamaha motorcycle Friday when the driver of a 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup pulled in front of him. The driver of the truck, 17-year-old Charles Ray Smith of Salina, was stopped facing north on Holmes and according to reports, said he saw a right-turn signal flashing on Goff’s motorcycle. Smith proceeded north through the intersection when Goff’s motorcycle hit the truck in the driver’s side door.

No citations were issued and the accident remains under investigation by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office.
