Salina police will have extra officers on the road this weekend looking for drivers under the influence.

The Salina Police Department is planning a saturation patrol for this Friday from midnight to 3 a.m. to keep drunk drivers off the road.

The city-wide patrol will be funded through a Kansas Impaired Driver Deterrent Program grant.
