JoAnn Colleen Dolan
July 24, 1931 – May 7, 2012
JoAnn Colleen Dolan, 80, of Salina, died Monday, May 7, 2012. She was born in Junction City on July 24, 1931, the daughter of Gaylord and Georgia (Allens-worth) Fairman. She worked at Salina Regional Health Center until retirement in 1996. She was a volunteer for Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure and at Peggy Simms School of Dance for several years. She loved to cook and was known for many wonderful dishes, with one favorite known as “Granny Jo’s Peanut Butter Fudge.” JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.Survivors include Gail and Tom Russell, Pat and Jeannette Dolan, Peggy and Chuck Simms, Jim and Terri Dolan, Bob and Michelle Dolan, all of Salina, Kathy Dolan, of Mammoth Lakes, Calif., and Debbie Dolan, of Lindsborg; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral and burial in All-Saints Cemetery, Salina. Memorials are to Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure or Salina Community Theater. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, is in charge of arrangements.
